Finally made it to the Silver Star col (didn’t bother attempting the summit due to timing the ski for optimal turns + a scramble in ski boots didn’t sound appealing)! I’ve been wanting to do this tour since I bought the “Backcountry Ski Washington” book in 2018 and am so happy to ski it after all this time. The forested section is just as arduous as advertised but the ~1500’ of fresh snow up top made it well worth the toiling in the forest!
